La energia geotermica no es un tipo de enrgia muy utilizados, es el calor interno de la Tierra. Hoy en día, los progresos en los métodos de perforación y bombeo permiten explotar la energía geotérmica en numerosos lugares del mundo. Algunos creeran que para poder aprovechar este tipo de energia es necesario hacer grandisimas perforacions en la tierra o que necesitariamos largos colectores para poder obtener esta energia….Pero eso no es asi, esta energia se la puede extraer de colectores naturales, como por ejemplo geisers o simples depositos de aguas termales.
