Linkin Park es una banda estadounidense originaria de Agoura Hills, Los Ángeles,California. Su estilo ha sido el nu metal y el rapcore; sin embargo, en su último álbumMinutes To Midnight el género que más predomina es el rock alternativo. La banda ha vendido más de 60 millones de discos y ha recibido 2 premios Grammy.^{1 2} El grupo se hizo famoso gracias a su disco debut Hybrid Theory, que ha vendido más de 25 millones de copias, siendo el álbum debut más vendido en la historia y el segundo más vendido el siglo XXI, solo por detras del álbum 1 de Los Beatles. Su nombre hace homenaje a Lincoln Park de Santa Mónica, EE.UU.

En el 2003, MTV2 nombró a Linkin Park la sexta mejor banda en la era del video musical.
