"Love the way you lie"

Sin duda alguna fue un gran éxito en el 2010, y en lo personal es una de mis canciones favoritas. A pesar de ser altamente criticada en el lanzamiento de su video debido a la violencia que detallaba, la canción llegó al número 1 de la Billboard y se mantuvo por 7 semanas consecutivas.
En cuanto a la letra de la canción, es una mezcla de versos ligeramente fuera de los cabales y altamente explícito. A mi manera de verlo, la canción habla sobre el amor en pareja, que en muchas ocasiones se vuelve obsesivo y controlador en todos los ámbitos de nuestras vidas. Por otra parte también nos habla sobre, como lo dije ya antes, la violencia entre parejas, que muchas veces por ese “amor”, el cual yo lo llamaría realmente una obsesión, es aceptado por quienes lo viven y no se demuestran amor propio para salir de este círculo vicioso.
Cabe resaltar también la participación de Rihanna en esta pieza musical, quien le da un toque especial al coro, con su voz siempre melodiosa. Además, ¿quién como ella para hablar sobre maltrato en pareja? Si ella misma lo vivió en carne propia.
Este es para mí el mejor dueto que estos dos grandes artistas han hecho, y la mejor colaboración de artistas de los últimos 5 años.
El artista más exitoso de la última década, y uno de los mejores raperos de todo el tiempo, suele demostrarnos su gran talento en componer en cada una de sus canciones. Un genio y gran referente de las letras que quedan grabadas en tu cabeza.
