\nJulian was born in Lima Peru raised in a multicultural environment with Latin-Chinese heritage. At the age of 17, he moved to Miami Florida where he attended Miami International University of Art & Design. Shortly afterwards he created a small evening collection under his own label \u201cJulian Chang\u201d and his designs were on their way to the wardrobes of Miami\u2019s Elite. He opened his first showroom on Miami\u2019s Upper East Side on 2003, and followed in Miami Beach and South Miami soon afterwards. He launched his Contemporary Women\u2019s collection in 2008, selling to over 200 boutiques across the country. Now at 30, Julian resides in Miami\u2019s Upper Eastside.<\/span><\/p>\n

Julian Chang has received top honors including MIFW \u201cPr\u00eat-a-Porter Designer of the Year\u201d, Pr\u00eat-a-Porter Style Award, \u00a0Ebenzer Award of Honor World Fashion in Korea, Florida International\u2019s Designer Star Winner, Vogue En Espanol \u201cDesigner\u2019s Choice Award\u201d, Cadillac Luxury Lifestyle Award, \u00a0Women\u2019s Wear Daily selected Chang as the \u00a0\u201cUp and Coming Ready-to-Wear Designer to watch\u201d, Gen Art Fresh Faces Award, recipient of The Key to the City of Miami Beach, Vox Out Award and AI Alumni Wall of Fame, In 2010 Julian Chang opened the Miami Fashion Week International and was awarded for his Ready to Wear Collection.<\/span><\/p>\n
