March 2nd, 2010 (1st job day)

Today is my first job day, i will have to be at the store from 3 to 11 pm. I hope this will be a great day.

I will have to cook also, I will do it early, for having  plenty of time for arrive to the store (which is 40 minutes away from my department)

Aun estoy en Ecuador, asi que no tengo ninguna experiencia de Estados Unidos por contrar. Al momento, lo único que les puedo compartir es sobre mi futura estancia en E.U.; y en esta ocasión será sobre mi trabajo.

Voy a trabajar en una tienda llamada Surf Style que se dedica a vender ropa de playa. Mi trabajo será atender a los clientes (algo que me parece super interesante), y bueno, la verdad no estoy seguro que mas tenga que hacer. De momento no se nada mas.

I'm still in Ecuador, so I don't have any experience from United States to tell. Right now, the only thing I can share is about my future staying i U.S.; and in this ocassion will be about my job.

I will job in a retail store called Surf Style, which sells beach clothes. My job will be serve customers (I think that will be very interesting), and well, the truth is that I'm not really sure what else I will have to do. Right now, I don't know anything else.

Mi nombre es Christian Silva, tengo 19 años, y voy a iniciar un proyecto que me propuse hace algunos meses, ir en un programa Work & Travel a los Estados Unidos.

Junto a este viaje, me decidí a hacer este blog, en el que compartiré todas mis vivencias y retos que enfrentaré durante 3 meses en un país completamente nuevo y en el que estaré solo.
