Los circuitos que contienen solo fuentes, componentes lineales (resistores, condensadores, inductores) y elementos de distribuci\u00f3n lineales (l\u00edneas de transmisi\u00f3n o cables) pueden analizarse por m\u00e9todos algebraicos para determinar su comportamiento en corriente directa\u00a0o en corriente alterna. Un circuito que tiene componentes\u00a0electr\u00f3nicos\u00a0es denominado un circuito\u00a0electr\u00f3nico.
