(600 millas) al oeste del Ecuador continental.\u00a0 Est\u00e1 formado por trece islas mayores, seis islas menores, 42 islotes y muchas rocas, que cubren en total una superficie de 7,850 km2. La isla m\u00e1s grande es Isabela, con una superficie de 4,590 km2, que tambi\u00e9n tiene el punto m\u00e1s alto del archipi\u00e9lago, el Volc\u00e1n Wolf, con 1,690 metros snm.
