{"id":39,"date":"2009-06-11T11:43:20","date_gmt":"2009-06-11T15:43:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.espol.edu.ec\/mvordone\/?page_id=39"},"modified":"2009-11-09T18:54:34","modified_gmt":"2009-11-09T22:54:34","slug":"mirate","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blog.espol.edu.ec\/mvordone\/mirate\/","title":{"rendered":"M\u00edrate"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><strong><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong>A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian!<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>As powerful as God is, he cannot answer prayers until they\u2019re prayed.\u00a0 Prayer is the only way to get gods power released into your life.\u00a0 Prayer is the secret to power with God.\u00a0 Daniel was thrown to the lions because his prayer life terrorized the demonized bureaucrats of Babylon.\u00a0 He pierced the darkness with prayer.\u00a0 Elijah prayed and fire fell form heaven.\u00a0 If that ever starts happening in your prayer life, it won\u2019t be boring, I guarantee you.\u00a0 In the early days of the church, they prayed until the building shook.<br \/>\nMoses prayed, and as long as his hands were held up, Israel won the war.\u00a0 The moment his hands came down, Israel lost the war.\u00a0 The point is this?\u00a0 What you do on the ground in prayer is what God can do in the heavens.\u00a0 The moment you stop praying is the moment God\u2019s power stops.\u00a0 Your prayer is the secret of releasing God\u2019s power in your life.\u00a0 Jesus had a powerful prayer life; He prayed all night many nights.\u00a0\u00a0 And after He had prayed all night, then came the signs and wonders.<\/div>\n<p>When you pray, you tap into the supernatural world.\u00a0 Through the Holy Spirit, you can pray with supernatural intelligence that goes beyond the knowledge of man.\u00a0 Romans 8:26 says that when we don\u2019t know how to pray, the \u201cHoly Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:\u00a0 for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:\u00a0 but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.\u201d\u00a0 Our \u201cinfirmities\u201d include our mental capacity.\u00a0 Regardless of how brilliant you thing you are, you are playing in a sand box compared to the genius of all-knowing God.<\/p>\n<p>When I was going to seminary, every weekend I would travel somewhere to preach.\u00a0 On one particular occasion I preached all day Sunday in Oklahoma and was driving back to Dallas late that night.\u00a0 I had to drive all night in order to get back in time for school.\u00a0 I went to sleep while driving and woke up when I heard a loud noise.\u00a0 Evidently I was driving quite fast and I hit one of those old country railroad tracks that has a swayback.\u00a0 It launched my car up into the air.\u00a0 I was airborne, if you will, hanging on to the steering wheel.\u00a0 When my eyes opened, right in front of me was a Texaco tanker coming toward me.\u00a0 Miraculously, my car landed, in my lane, on all four wheels\u2014and brother, when it did, I was wide- awake all the way back to Dallas.<\/p>\n<p>As I walked into my dorm room, the phone rang.\u00a0 It was my mother.\u00a0 She asked me where I was at 3:00 that morning.\u00a0 I had looked at the clock and knew that was the exact moment my car hit the road safely.\u00a0 I told her I was driving back form Oklahoma.\u00a0 That didn\u2019t quite satisfy my mother.\u00a0 She was like the FBI; she knew what I was doing behind the door when it was locked.\u00a0 She said, \u201cAt 2:30 this morning the Lord woke me up.\u00a0 I began to pray for you, because I knew your life was handing in the balance.\u00a0 And at ten minutes after three the burden lifted and everything was all right.\u00a0 Now I\u2019m asking you again, where were you at 3:00?\u201d\u00a0 So I told her the story.<\/p>\n<p>You can pray with supernatural knowledge when you have a prayer relationship with God.\u00a0 Answered prayer is not a miracle; it\u2019s a law.\u00a0 When you take an ice tray and fill it with water and place it in a freezer, if the temperature is 32 degrees or less, the water turns to ice.\u00a0 That is not a miracle.\u00a0 That is a natural law.\u00a0 It\u2019s the only thing that can happen.\u00a0 When you meet God\u2019s conditions in prayer, you will get an answer.\u00a0 It is not a miracle; it is the only thing that can happen.\u00a0 John 14:14 says, \u201cIf ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.\u201d\u00a0 Matthew 7:8 says, \u201cFor everyone that asketh receiveth.\u201d\u00a0 Prayer is not a mystery.\u00a0 Answered prayer is not a miracle.\u00a0 It is the law of God.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a class=\"flickr-image alignnone\" title=\"\u00bfQui\u00e9n eres?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/38557585@N05\/3623816018\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3610\/3623816018_6775992aa2_t.jpg\" alt=\"\u00bfQui\u00e9n eres?\" width=\"100\" height=\"94\" \/><\/a> Saber qui\u00e9nes somos es muy importante para nuestras vidas. La forma de la que pensamos salir de problemas e inclusive hasta como reaccionamos, nos describe f\u00e1cilmente. Mientras nos vamos envejeciendo, atravesamos muchas etapas de nuestras vidas que nos llevan frente a diversas situaciones que no siempre son felices pero que cada vez m\u00e1s terminan por definir nuestro car\u00e1cter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Encontrar un modelo perfecto a seguir es algo dif\u00edcil. Todas las personas tienen errores y son imperfectas. Mas hay solo un perfecto y ese es Jes\u00fas. El car\u00e1cter de Cristo es que cada d\u00eda deber\u00edamos ir forjando en nuestra vida pera hacer de ella una victoria. Sin importar las circunstancias, si sabemos bien en quien creemos, nada nos podr\u00e1 afectar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Cuando recibimos a Jes\u00fas en nuestro coraz\u00f3n nuestra identidad cambia y conocemos as\u00ed, las nuevas personas que somos. Nuestra nueva identidad en Cristo es especial y exitosa. Entre una de ellas est\u00e1n que somos hechos hijos, somos linaje escogido, un pueblo santo, somos victoriosos y \u00e9l vive en nosotros y nosotros en \u00e9l.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Saber esto, me ha ayudado mucho para saber cu\u00e1l deber\u00eda ser mi actitud ante las diferentes cirscunstancias. En la biblia dice que: \"la palabra es escudo a aquellos quienes conf\u00edan en \u00e9l\". As\u00ed que conociendo sus promesas es suficiente para saber que ning\u00fan obst\u00e1culo puede detener lo que Jes\u00fas haya puesto en nosotros a hacer. No van a haber pruebas que no sean m\u00e1s que peque\u00f1as piedras en el camino. Cada vez que tropieces con ellas, s\u00f3lo notar\u00e1s qu\u00e9 agigantado va tu paso. Con Jes\u00fas todo es posible y nunca hay mal que por bien no venga. =)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Cuando nos anhelos y dediciones son gu\u00edadas por \u00e9l, nunca perder\u00e1n su prop\u00f3sito. Adem\u00e1s, ser\u00e1n las mejores.
