Su estilo ha incluido funk, R&amp;B, disco, pop rock y dance. La banda fue formada por Harry Wayne Casey (KC), \u00e9l trabajaba en una tienda de discos y medio tiempo en \"TK Records\" en Miami. KC originalmente llam\u00f3 a la banda KC &amp; The Sunshine Band Junkanoo, \u00e9l utilizaba los estudios de TK y una banda local llamada The Miami Junkanoo Band. En TK conoci\u00f3 a Richard Finch, quien hac\u00eda trabajos de ingenier\u00eda de grabaciones y lo integr\u00f3 al grupo. Este fue el comienzo de la colaboraci\u00f3n musical Casey-Finch. Tambi\u00e9n se unieron el guitarrista Jerome Smith (18 jun 1953 a 28 jul 2000) y el baterista Robert Johnson, ambos m\u00fasicos de TK Records. Finch colabor\u00f3 para KC &amp; The Sunshine Band hasta 1980.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El propio Harry transform\u00f3 su apellido \"Casey\" en: \"K C\", y \"Sunshine Band\" viene de Sunshine State (Florida). Entre sus canciones m\u00e1s conocidas destacan \"That's the way (I like it)\", \"(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty\", \"Get Down Tonight\",\"I'm Your Boogie Man\", \"Keep It Comin' Love\", \"Please Don't Go\" y \"Give It Up\".<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Su presencia fue celebrada en el Festival de la Canci\u00f3n de Vi\u00f1a del Mar 1981, por sus melod\u00edas bailables de la \u00e9poca.
