The Rasmus are a Finnish rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were still in upper comprehensive school. The original band members were Lauri Ylönen (lead singer/songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Janne Heiskanen (drums). Heiskanen quit the band in 1998 and was soon replaced by Aki Hakala.
Before releasing their fourth studio album Into (2001), they were simply known as Rasmus, but changed their name to The Rasmus in order to avoid being confused with a Swedish DJ of the same name. They gained international fame with their 2003 album Dead Letters which went gold and platinum in several countries, accompanied with the single "In the Shadows" which reached number 1 in a number of countries. Their follow-up album Hide from the Sun which was released in October 2005 also went platinum in Finland.
The band is one of Finland's most successful with more than 3.5 million albums have been sold worldwide, eight gold awards and five platinum awards. They have released seven studio albums, two compilation album and 21 singles. Some of the band's most famous songs are the singles "Liquid", "F-F-F-Falling", "In the Shadows", "First Day of My Life", "Funeral Song", "No Fear", "Sail Away", "Livin' in a World Without You", and "Justify". Their most recent album, titled Black Roses, was released in 2008. Immediately it replaced Metallica's latest album Death Magnetic in the Finnish Album Charts and went gold after one week. In early 2010, The Rasmus started working on their next album, which will be released by the band's personal record label due to their contract with their previous label dissolving at the end of 2009.

NX Zero is a Brazilian emo band formed in 2001 in Sao Paulo, the band consists Diego Ferrero (vocals), Leandro Rocha (guitar and backing vocals), Daniel Weksler (drums), Conrado Grandino (bass) and Filipe Ricardo (guitar).
The band released their debut album for the label Urubuz Records entitled Diálogo? in 2004. After this, the band signed with Arsenal Music / Universal Music and released four more albums: NX Zero in 2006, Agora in 2008, Sete Chaves in 2009 and Projeto Paralelo in 2010. According to ABPD the Band has won two singles Disk Diamond, "Incontrolável" and "Consequência","Cedo Ou Tarde" with Platinum and "Razões e Emoções" with platinum, with a total of more than a 100 thousand downloads just in Brazil.
The band has so far six singles at No. 1 on the Hot 100 Brazil: "Razões e Emoções", "Pela Última Vez", "Cedo Ou Tarde", "Daqui Pra Frente, "Espero a Minha Vez" and "Só rezo".
Nx Zero was in ninth place in the top 50 best selling CDs in Brazil. The debut of the boys, NXZero, had more than 145,000 copies sold, and the "DVD 62 mil horas até aqui", about 43 thousand. They received a proposal to rewrite the songs in other languages. They released songs in English and Spanish.
The Horrors are a band from Southend on Sea, England formed in 2005. They released their debut album Strange House, which reached number 37 on the UK Albums Chart in 2007. Their second album Primary Colours was released in 2009 and reached number 25 in the UK. Their third album Skying was released on July 11th, 2011. The band have also guest starred in TV comedy The Mighty Boosh, under the pseudonym "The Black Tubes."

LMFAO is an American electro hop duo that formed in 2006 in Los Angeles, California, consisting of rappers and DJs Redfoo and SkyBlu. They are the son and grandson, respectively, of Motown record label founder Berry Gordy, making them uncle and nephew. Their music incorporates a theme of partying and drinking, and the group commonly refers to their music style as "party rock". The name LMFAO is an initialism for "Laughing My Fucking Ass Off" and is pronounced letter by letter.
