Historia
“Twitter comenzó como un proyecto de investigación y desarrollo dentro de Obvious, LLC, un pequeño start-up de San Francisco, durante marzo de 2006. El nombre original del producto era twttr, inspirado por Flickr. Al principio fue usado internamente por la compañía hasta que fue oficialmente lanzado al público en octubre del mismo año. El servicio rápidamente comenzó a ganar adeptos y en marzo de 2007 ganó el premio South by Southwest Web Award en la categoría de blog.
Jack Dorsey es el padre de esta aplicación web y actual Presidente del Consejo de Administración de Twitter, Inc, empresa que surgió a raíz de Obvious, LLC y el éxito cosechado por Twitter. A principios de 2008, el equipo de Twitter estaba compuesto por 18 personas, durante 2009 han multiplicado su plantilla por cuatro y siguen creciendo.”

3. Agregue sus detalles y un coqueto "icono" para que los otros puedan saber que usted es realmente usted.
4. Comience a escribir todo lo que se le ocurra en mensajes cortos de 140 palabras (son como mensajes de texto...de hecho se pueden mandar desde el celular o desde programas de mensajería).
5. Si tiene blog puede agregar el "badge" (por ejemplo en la barra lateral).
6. Lo ideal es que usted tenga a sus amiguis y conocidos en este sistema para que así pueda ver y parlotear con ellos en relación a sus cosas cotidianas.
