A la edad de 6 a\u00f1os empez\u00f3 a tocar el piano pero nunca asisti\u00f3 a ninguna escuela, su maestro fue su padre, Gustavo Maruri.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Roy realiz\u00f3 sus estudios primarios y secundarios en la Unidad Educativa La Moderna.
