«La Evolución», el nuevo álbum de Wisin y Yandel, ya está a la venta a nivel mundial a partir de hoy, en una producción que es una reedición «deluxe» del exitoso álbum multiplatino «La Revolución».
El disco contiene ocho canciones nuevas (cinco de ellas totalmente inéditas) y viene repleto de «remixes» de las canciones de «La Revolución», entre ellas versiones nuevas de «Gracias a Ti», con Enrique Iglesias, y de «Ella Me Llama», con Akon. Además, el disco incluye el éxito internacional «All up to you», con Aventura y Akon.
El álbum contiene colaboraciones con los artistas 50 Cent, Enrique Iglesias, Akon, T-Pain, Aventura, Ivy Queen, Ednita Nazario, Franco «El Gorila», Gadiel y Yomo.
Además incluye un DVD con los videos musicales de «Abusadora» (nominado para un MTV Video Music Award 2009), de «Mujeres in the Club» (con 50 Cent) y de «Gracias A Ti» (versión original y versión con Enrique Iglesias).
El álbum, editado bajo el sello Machete Music, estará disponible en los formatos CD, digital y móvil.
«La Revolución» ha recibido Disco de Doble Platino en Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico; Disco de Platino, en México; y Discos de Oro, en Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala y El Salvador.
Además ha ganado un sinnúmero de galardones, entre ellos un Latin Grammy, dos Premios MTV, así como nominaciones a los MTV Video Music Awards 2009 y los American Music Awards 2009.
